IMPACT: Eco-Friendly Promotional Merchandise
Over the last couple of years, we have seen a huge rise in requests for eco-friendly merchandise and some brilliant new options hit the market, with a move towards bamboo, metal and glass alternatives. We’re so excited about this trend as the oceans mean a lot to us as a business. You might already know, one of our Directors, Emma, had a career at sea as a Chief Stewardess onboard Superyachts. So, when we heard about a brand new collection, IMPACT: Eco-Friendly Promotional Merchandise, we couldn’t wait to share it with you!
The IMPACT collection has been created with a focus on eliminating greenwashing and also working towards reducing water consumption. Have you come across a product that says it’s eco-friendly but isn’t able to substantiate those claims? That’s greenwashing. Businesses jump headfirst into trying to become more sustainable but sometimes miss the mark. This is where the IMPACT collection is bucking the trend.
Bags, notebooks, bottles and baseball caps of incredible quality have been manufactured with traceable, recycled rPET and cotton materials. Every product sold generates a 2% donation to water.org, a global organisation that is working to bring safe and accessible water and sanitation to all corners of the globe.
IMPACT state that by 2025, 50% of the world’s population will have to deal with “water stress”. Defined by greenfacts.org, water stress is when the demand for water exceeds the available amount during a certain period or when poor quality restricts its use. But using recycled materials, such as polyester and cotton, thousands of litres of water can be saved. IMPACT can guarantee this through their groundbreaking AWARE™ technology.
